On the first day of your East Africa safari, you’ll be met at JKIA (Nairobi Airport), proceed to Amboseli National Park from here. The journey takes approximately four hours, where you’ll arrive in time for lunch.

Afterward, you’ll embark on an afternoon game viewing, providing your first glimpse of the wildlife that calls this park home.

Rise early to witness the sunrise over Mt. Kilimanjaro before heading out of your Amboseli safari lodge or camp. A full-day game drive at Amboseli National Park will take you through the park’s diverse landscapes, including swamps, savannahs, and woodlands.

Keep an eye out for herds of elephants, zebras, wildebeest, and other plains game roaming freely in their natural habitat during the full-day game viewing drive. Today, you will carry a packed lunch to take it in the jungle and only return to the camp/lodge in the evening.

On the third day of your combined Kenya and Tanzania tour, you will depart Amboseli for Lake Naivasha, a unique destination with an abundance of birdlife and hippopotamus. En-route to Lake Naivasha, you’ll stop at the Great Rift Valley escarpment where you can take in the stunning views of this geological wonder.

Upon reaching Lake Naivasha, you’ll head for check in at the best Lake Naivasha hotel, resort, or lodge with a warm welcome before heading out for an afternoon boat ride on the lake. The boat ride is usually combined with a walking safari on Crescent Island, providing an up-close experience with the wildlife.

Today, you’ll depart Lake Naivasha for Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its vast flocks of flamingos and other bird species. On arrival at this small but beautiful park, you’ll head out on a late morning game drive in search of the resident wildlife, including buffaloes, rhinos, giraffes, and more.

Later on you will head for check it at the chosen Lake Nakuru safari lodge or camp and take lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll embark on another game drive to explore more of the park’s wildlife and scenery. Watch out for the lion hill, where it is common to spot the elusive leopards lounging on the trees.

The fifth day of your Kenya-Tanzania safari will take you to the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, home to the Great Migration and a variety of wildlife. En-route, you’ll visit a traditional Maasai village, providing insight into their culture and way of life.

Upon arrival at Maasai Mara, you’ll check in at your chosen Masai Mara safari lodge or tented camp before embarking on an afternoon drive. Here you’ll have the opportunity to spot the Big Five and other wild animals, as well as witness the stunning landscapes of this iconic park.

The next two days will be dedicated to exploring the diverse habitats and wildlife of Masai Mara through morning and afternoon drives. With the guidance of experienced safari guides, you’ll have the best chances of spotting the Big Five, as well as witnessing the Great Migration if visiting between July and October.

You will have picnic lunches in the wild and return to your lodge or camp in the evening, where you can relax and enjoy the amenities before another exciting day of safari adventure.

Your Kenya and Tanzania safaris adventure continues as you fly from Masai Mara to the legendary Serengeti Game Park, known for its vast herds of wildebeest, zebras, and other animals traversing the plains in search of greener pastures.

Upon arrival at Serengeti airstrip, you’ll be met by your guide and head to the best Serengeti safari lodges or tented camps. After lunch, you’ll embark on an afternoon safari adventure in this esteemed park, providing the perfect opportunity to spot some of Africa’s most iconic wildlife.

The next three days will see you enjoy unlimited game viewing drives at the Serengeti National Park, allowing you to witness the park’s diverse landscapes and wildlife up-close. You’ll have a packed lunch during your full-day game drives, providing the opportunity to spend more time exploring this iconic national park.

On the twelves day of your Kenya and Tanzania safari tour, you’ll depart Serengeti for L. Manyara, known for its trees-climbing lions and large herds of elephants.

Upon arrival, you’ll check in at your chosen L. Manyara safari lodge or camp before embarking on an afternoon drive. Keep your eyes open for the elusive trees-climbing lions and other wildlife such as buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and more.

Today, you’ll head to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and diverse birdlife. After checking in at your chosen Tarangire safari lodge or camp, you’ll embark on an afternoon drive to explore the park’s diverse landscapes and wildlife.

The highlight of your Tanzania tour adventure will be a visit to the renowned Ngorongoro Crater, known as the “Garden of Eden” for its rich wildlife and stunning landscapes. After descending into the crater, you’ll embark on an afternoon game viewing where you have a chance to spot some of Africa’s Big Five and other animals such as hippos, hyenas, and more.

On the final day of your Kenya and Tanzania safari tour, you’ll depart from your Ngorongoro Crater safari lodge or camp for Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you’ll have some time for last-minute shopping before heading to the airport for your departure flight.

As your adventure comes to an end, you’ll leave with unforgettable memories of the diverse landscapes and wildlife that make Kenya and Tanzania top safari destinations.
