Tour Plan
Upon arrival in Nairobi, clients will be warmly greeted and transferred to the Eka Hotel, a contemporary-style hotel providing comfort and convenience for discerning travelers. Located along Mombasa Road, it is close to both international and domestic airports as well as the city center. The hotel features tastefully decorated rooms, two restaurants, a bar, conference facilities, a swimming pool, and various amenities. Clients will enjoy the afternoon at leisure to unwind and explore the hotel's facilities. Overnight accommodation is provided in a superior room on a bed-and-breakfast basis. Check-in time is at 14:00. Depending on the arrival time, clients may choose to add an optional excursion to enhance their experience.
After breakfast at the hotel, clients will leave Nairobi and travel towards Kenya's fertile highlands. The journey takes them down the Rift Escarpment along a road built by Italian prisoners of war during World War II. Along the way, clients can spot the charming chapel built at the foot of the escarpment and pass the impressive Longonot Earth Satellite Station. As they continue across the valley to Narok, clients will travel through expansive fields of wheat and barley before arriving at Masai Mara in time for lunch. After a hearty meal, clients will embark on their first game drive, returning to the lodge as the sun sets. Overnight accommodation is provided at Keekorok Lodge on a full-board basis. The drive time is approximately 5 hours.
Following an early breakfast, clients will set out for a morning game drive, returning to the lodge mid-morning to relax. After lunch and perhaps a brief siesta, clients will embark on another afternoon game drive, returning to the lodge as the sun sets. Overnight accommodation is again at Keekorok Lodge on a full-board basis.
After breakfast, clients will leave the Masai Mara and travel across the 'breadbasket' of Kenya, where expansive fields of wheat and barley cover the landscape. The journey continues north to Narok, the district headquarters of this part of Maasailand. Clients will traverse the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley, keeping an eye out for herds of giraffe and gazelle as they ascend Mai Mahiu, finally arriving at Lake Naivasha around midday. Following lunch and a siesta, clients can enjoy an afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha, with the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Overnight accommodation is at Lake Naivasha Country Club on a full-board basis. The drive time is approximately 5.5 hours.
After an early breakfast, clients will leave Naivasha behind and continue towards Nairobi to meet their fellow travelers. From there, they will head southeast towards Amboseli, arriving in time for a late lunch. In the afternoon, clients will embark on a game drive, returning to the lodge as the sun sets. Overnight accommodation is provided at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge on a full-board basis. The drive time is approximately 7 hours.
After an early breakfast, clients will depart for Tsavo West, arriving at their lodge for lunch. The journey takes them east across the spectacular Shetani Lava Flow, a reminder of the molten outpouring that has occurred over the last three centuries. A zig-zagging road through scrub thorn and acacia leads into Tsavo National Park, the largest of Kenya’s parks when combined with Tsavo East. Following lunch, clients will set off on an afternoon game drive, which includes a visit to Mzima Springs with its underwater viewing holes. They will return to the lodge as the sun sets. Overnight accommodation is at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge, with a drive time of approximately 3 hours.
This morning, following breakfast, clients will embark on a game drive en route to the gate, continuing to Taita Hills Sanctuary, arriving for lunch at Taita Hills Safari Resort. After lunch, they will transfer to Saltlick Lodge. After a short siesta, clients will depart on an afternoon game drive, returning late in the afternoon. The rest of the afternoon and evening will be at leisure, with opportunities for game viewing from the lodge’s underground hide or balcony. Overnight accommodation is at Saltlick Lodge on a full-board basis. The drive time is approximately 3 hours.
Early breakfast will be served today before continuing the journey to Mombasa, aiming to reach either the North or South Coast beach hotel in time for a late lunch (This can be arranged on extra cost).
This marks the end of services, with a drive time of approximately 4 hours. Clients will have the option to be dropped off at Mombasa Airport either for their flight back home or at their chosen coast hotel, where they can extend their stay at an additional cost.
