Masai Mara: 3 DAYS
DAY 1
8:00 hours: Depart from our Nairobi office for a climb up the western wall entering Hemingway’s Country “Serengeti Plains”. Arrive late afternoon in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Set up camp at the lodge.
DAY 2
A full day spent game viewing across the rich, tree studded grasslands and rolling hills. The Famous Mara is renowned for its great herd of plains game, black maned Lion, Leopard and Cheetah. It also has numerous Elephants and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya, All meals and overnight at campsite.
DAY 3
After breakfast, depart for Nairobi, enjoy a picnic lunch enroute and arrive in Nairobi late afternoon.
Masai Mara/Nakuru/Amboseli West Tsavo/East Tsavo: 11 DAYS
DAY 1 Nairobi/Masai Mara
9:00 a.m. We leave Nairobi via the Great Rift Valley for Masai Mara Game Reserve and have a picnic lunch enroute. On arrival, we proceed for a game drive in search of wild predator such as the black maned Lion, the elusive Leopard, Cheetah, Buffalo and other plains game. We return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
DAY 2 and DAY 3 Masai Mara Two full days of game viewing. All meals and overnight accommodations are at campsite.
DAY 4 Masai Mara/Nakuru
8:30 a.m. Breakfast, afterwards we leave Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park and enjoy a picnic lunch enroute. On the arrival, we proceed for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park often described as the “World’s Greatest Bird Spectacle”.
DAY 5 Nakuru/Nairobi/Amboseli
Breakfast at 9:00 a.m. After we leave Nakuru for Nairobi and continue to Amboseli, Lunch enroute. On arrival, we will view game as we proceed to the campsite, Dinner an overnight at the camp.
DAY 6 and 7 Nakuru/Nairobi/Amboseli
Two full days of game viewing, all meals and overnight at campsite.
DAY 8 Amboseli/Tsavo west
6:30 a.m. we proceed for an early morning game drive as we live camp for Tsavo West National Park and game view and lunch enroute. On arrival in Tsavo, in late afternoon, we set up camp at Shaitani Lava Flow, Dinner and overnight.
DAY 9 Tsavo West
A Full day game view, a visit to Mzima Springs where Hipos and Crocodiles are seen, overnight at the camp.
DAY 10 Tsavo West/Tsavo East
9:00 a.m. We take breakfast, and then we leave Tsavo West for Tsavo East game driving enroute, arriving in time of lunch at Tsavo East. Lunch will be at 3:30 p.m. After which we proceed for a game drive, Dinner and overnight at the camp.
DAY 11
Tsavo East/ Nairobi or Mombasa
8:30 a.m. we breakfast and proceed for a game drive. After lunch at 2:00 p.m. we leave for Nairobi or Mombasa.
Masai Mara/Nakuru/Samburu: 7 DAYS
DAY 1 Nairobi/ Masai Mara
8:00 a.m. we leave Nairobi for Masai Mara Game Reserve Picnic, lunch enroute. On arrival proceed to the campsite, after a short rest and if time permits, proceed for a game drive in search of black maned Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Cheetah, Buffaloes and other plains game. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
DAY 2 Masai Mara
6:00 a.m. we proceed for an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. Return to camp for breakfast, after lunch, a further game drive, Dinner and overnight at the camp.
DAY 3 Masai Mara
Full day game viewing, All meals and overnight at the camp.
DAY 4 Masai Mara
Early morning pre- breakfast game drives in Masai Mara, after breakfast, leave for Nakuru National Park. Enjoy a picnic enroute, arriving in Nakuru late in the afternoon.
DAY 5 Nakuru/Samburu
Begins at 6:30 a.m. Once in Nakuru, proceed to Nakuru National Park and a pre-breakfast game drive noted for huge concentration of flamingoes. The park is rich in other birdlife and a number of wild animals. After breakfast, leave for Samburu, Lunch enroute, arriving late afternoon, Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
DAY 6 Samburu
Begins at 6:30 a.m. with an early morning prebreakfast game drive. Return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast, further game drives. Lunch at campsite, At 4:00 p.m. we go on another game drive, Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
DAY 7 Samburu Mt.Kenya/Nairobi
After 8:00 a.m. breakfast, we leave Samburu for Mountain Rock Hotel (formerly, Bantu Lodge) for a picnic lunch. We will drop off clients who want to stay behind to climb Mt.Kenya, after lunch, leave for Nairobi.
Lake Manyara/Ngorongoro/Serengeti: 6 DAYS
DAY 1
Arrive at Namanga border, 10:00 a.m. After immigration formalities, drive to Arusha National Park, famous for its tree climbing Lions and large flocks of Flamingoes. The park contains five distinct vegetation zones and is of great scenic beauty. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Hotel, sited on top of the Rift Wall with spectacular views over the lake, or your ampsite
DAY 2
After breakfast, depart Manyara for Ngorongoro crater for overnight on the crater rim. It is the only crater of its size where you can walk, drive through and see animals. It has four types of environment-lakes, forest, swamps, and savannah grasslands. Every part is different and beautiful.
DAY 3
After breakfast, taking a picnic lunch with you, we descend 2,000 feet into the crater floor in four wheel drive land rovers with pop up roofs. Full day crater tour with a break for lunch at Ngoitoktok Springs picnic site. The main crater is 165Km and contains constant animals population of varied species. Black maned Lions, Rhinos, Buffaloes, Elephants and other grazing animals have made this crater a permanent home. Return early evening to Ngorongoro wildlife lodge or campsite for dinner and lodgings.
DAY 4
7:30 a.m. We leave Ngorongoro after breakfast for Olduvai Gorge. Lunch at Gorge Museum where the remains of prehistoric man were discovered by the famous archeologist, Dr.L.S.B. Leakey. Visit an old Masai home on the way. We proceed to Serengeti plains past Seronera and on to Lobo, with afternoon game viewing. Dinner and overnight ata Lobo wildlife lodge or campsite.
DAY 5
Leave Lobo for Ndutu with game viewing in the Serengeti and around Ndutu woodlands to locate Leopards and numerous plans game as well as safaris lodge or campsite.
DAY 6
After breakfast, with brief game viewing on our way out of the Serengeti, we drive to Arusha via Mto Wa Mbu village for shopping for Makonde carvings and other souvenirs. We lunch at Arusha Hotel then drive to Nairobi via Namanga Bordertown, arriving early evening.
Zanzibar: 4 DAYS
DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT ZANZIBAR
On arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be met and transferred to Stone Town. Accommodation is on Bed & Breakfast basis.
DAY 2: STONE TOWN FULL DAY TOUR
After breakfast depart to the former Slave market site. Guided visit of the area and then drive to Maruhubi Palace ruins. Guided visit around the Palace, the fishing Village and the dhow shed. Proceed driving to Mangapwani village. Guided walk through the local farms and continue to visit the slave chambers and caves. Swahili Lunch at Serena Restaurant in Mangapwani. The restaurant is located on the outskirt of Zanzibar stone town. The Serena Mangapwani Restaurant and Watersports Centre is a great destination for those looking for somewhere special. Visitors to Mangapwani are offered a fresh seafood barbeque cooked to perfection by Serena’s expert team of chefs. The atmosphere is informal and friendly and the restaurant comprises a series of traditional makutibandas, all set into a lush hillside overlooking an idyllic beach. Guests can also enjoy fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, catamaran rides and other pleasant distractions at the well-equipped watersports centre. Late in the afternoon, Depart from Mangapwani aboard a local dhow and sail to Stone Town. Dinner at a restaurant in town. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 3: KIZIMBANI VILLAGE FULL DAY TOUR
After breakfast depart from the hotel with picnic lunches for a full day cultural tour at Kizimbani village. Return to the hotel for overnight.
DAY 4: END OF TOUR STONE TOWN
After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight home. Morning after breakfast pick up at 8:30am to Jozan forrest to see red monkey we call them red monkey because there is a four fingure and then drive up to the spice farm where you can see different types of spices and how they grown, and tasting the seasonal fruits and to experience the normal life of the local people in the village and then we get back to the airport for flight back home.
Kilimanjaro: 7 DAYS
Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and one of the largest extinct volcanoes. It can be climbed at any time except In April and May during the long rains. January to March and August to October are the best climbing seasons. We use the Marangu route which is the easiest and most accessible.
DAY 1
We will arrive at Namanga Bordertown at 10:00 a.m. and will continue on to Arusha for lunch after immigration formalities. We the drive to Moshi where the afternoon is spent organizing our gear. Dinner and overnight will be at the Kibo Hotel or the Moshi Y.M.C.A.
DAY 2
After breakfast, we drive 45Km to Marangu Gate, an altitude of 1,860m. We walk 9Km to Mandara hut (9,000 feet) through dense semitropical rain forest, for your first overnight on Kilimanjaro. Meals and overnight at the hut.
DAY 3
We begin early for a ten hour trip towards Horombo. The landscape becomes more rugged and rocky but superb with both Mawenzi and Kibo peaks in view. We will spend our second night on the mountain at Horombo hut, altitude 12,335 feet.
DAY 4
We take a tiring 13Km walk which takes 6 hours to Kibo hut, 15,520 feet above sea level. Spectacular mountain vegetation like giant cactus, groundsel and lobelia appear. Meal and overnight will be at the hut.
DAY 5
It takes about 5 hours to climb the steepest and most difficult part of the route to Gilman’s point (18,630 feet). From Gilman’s it takes 1 ½ hours to 2 hours to Uhuru peak, (19,344 feet). We descend to Horombo for dinner and overnight.
DAY 6
Decent is rapid. After breakfast, we walk down to Marangu gate for transfer to Moshi. Overnight will be spent at Moshi Y.M.C.A. or
Kibo hotel.
DAY 7
After breakfast, we drive to Arusha for lunch, then to Nairobi via Namanga Bordertown, arriving early evening.
Manyara/Ngorongoro: 4 DAYS
DAY 1
Arrive Namanga border at 10:00 a.m. After immigration formalities, we drive to Arusha for lunch, then on the Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive. Along the way we look out for tree climbing Lions for which Manyara is famous. Thousands of Flamingoes can be seen on the lake shore. Large herds of Elephants are also seen. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Hotel or campsite.
DAY 2
After breakfast depart for Ngorongoro crater arriving at lunch time. Drive to Empakaai crater through Ngorongoro, Embulbul depression and Ngomat wild area. Lunch at Empakaai crater rim. After lunch, with the help of armed guides, we walk into the crater floor through the forested wall. Climbing the walls back to the land rovers is an excellent afternoon exercise. We the drive to Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight.
DAY 3
After breakfast, taking picnic lunches with us, we descent 2,000 feet into the crater floor and spend the whole day tracking animals. We take a short break for lunch at Ngoitorktok springs picnic site. Other species encountered are Cheetah, Elephants, Grants and Thomson’s Gazelles, common Zebra, Wildebeest and a super abundance of spotted Hyena. Both lesser and greater Flamingoes are seen at the crater lakes. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge campsite.
DAY 4
After breakfast, we leave Ngorongoro for Arusha. We will stop at Mto wa Mbu village for shopping for souvenirs, arriving in time for lunch. Drive to Nairobi via Namanga border town, arriving early evening.
Masai Mara: 5 DAYS
DAY 1 Nairobi/Masai Mara
Depart at 8:00 am for Masai Mara Game Reserve. Picnic lunch enroute. Settle in the camp and in the late afternoon proceed for a game drive, Dinner and overnight at the camp.
DAY 2 Masai Mara
Full day is spent exploring this unique park which really forms the northern part of the famous Serengeti National Park, Meals and overnight at the camp.
DAY 3 Masai Mara
Full day game viewing, Meals and overnight at the camp.
DAY 4 Masai Mara/Nakuru
After breakfast, break the camp and depart for Lake Nakuru. Picnic lunch enroute, Lake Nakuru is world renowned for its mass and its possibility to see small game like Water Buck, Impala, Rhino and Buffalo in the garden surroundings. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 5 Nakuru/Nairobi
After breakfast, proceed for a game drive and depart for Nairobi, we arrive in the afternoon.
Masai Mara/Nakuru: 4 DAYS
DAY 1 Nairobi/Masai Mara
8:00 am drive through lush Kikuyu farmland to the edge of the Rift Valley. Descend the escarpment and drive via Narok to Masai Mara Game Reserve. Picnic lunch is served enroute. The Masai Mara adjoins Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. Masai Mara is famous for its black-maned Lion and yearly migrations of Wildebeest and Zebra. Elephants, Buffalo, Rhino, Gazelle, Leopard and Giraffe are also found here. Game viewing is done enroute to the campsite. Time permitting, a further game drive in the afternoon, Dinner and overnight at the camp.
DAY 2 Masai Mara
A full day spent viewing and exploring this spectacular National Park. All the Big Five can be seen. Masai Mara is also famous for its birdlife, Meals and overnight at the camp.
DAY 3 Masai Mara/Nakuru
After breakfast, leave the camp and proceed to Nakuru. Picnic lunch is served enroute. On arrival, time permitting, proceedfor a game drive. Lake Nakuru is famous for its pink Flamingoes and many other types of birds. There are also a number of animals in this park, Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 4 Lake Nakuru/Nairobi
After breakfast, spend the morning watching and photographing birds and wild animals in the park. Depart the hotel after lunch and leave for Nairobi, stopping for panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon.
